Hemroid Doctors

Did you know that hemroids are very common for both male and female that  about 50% of the population already had it even before they reach their 50s? But what are hemroids exactly, well simply put, it is the pain you feel in your anus because the veins surrounding it have swelled and become inflamed. After bending in front of your doctor for a much needed  inspection that lets the doctor look for swollen blood vessels, a digital rectal exam will also take place. This does not mean that a mini camera will be launched into your ass to take pictures of its rectal explorations. Instead, prep yourself up as the doctor dresses up his hands with serious gloves and squeezes a lube of KY jelly into one of his digits. The doctor has to feel up your anus for abnormalities (which is arguably one of the most intimate doctor-patient moments one can have). If that is not enough, then they take out their technological aids, an anoscope or protoscope that can examine the whole rectum and give the doctor the whole ugly truth that was beyond the reaches of his piercing eyes and probing fingers. But if no sign of hemroids were seen still, he could go further (whether it is all for kicks or sincere concern it is always better to be thorough). Procedures to observe the rectum and the upper and lower colon maybe conducted.

If the doctor finally diagnoses you and it is what we think it is, then he will advise you on how to treat heimroids. After step one which is finding out what the problem is, this next step always feels good because you know you can finally do something about your condition. Now, there are ways that can apply to hemroids in general but with different cases such as how to treat internal hemroids, (as some are protruding or sticking out) this is what you can do. Avoid straining yourself especially in the use of the anus to prevent further aggravation. The number one cause of straining is when we excrete. Particulary, when we do not take enough fiber to soften the stool and thus easing the process. It is highly recommended that you take fiber-rich food like, fruits, vegetables, and whole grains (and you think you can forever evict them from your life, remember that life does not have to revolve around meat) and drink a lot of water which is six to eight glasses to be exact (in a day not in a week). But if you are simply intolerant with fruits and vegetables, a fiber supplement can be prescribed such as, syllium (Metamucil) or methylcellulose (Citrucel).

In some cases, surgery is necessary to treat hemroids that it is removed by first shrinking it and then destroying the hemorrhoidal tissue. This can be easily done that your doctor can do it when you come in for an office or hospital visit. He or she can do it in several ways. One is to use a rubber band. This is called, rubber band ligation. Now what happens is that a rubber band is placed around the base of the hemroid. This will then cut off the circulation of the blood to the vein and after a few days the hemroid will just wither away. A procedure on how to treat bleeding hemroids can go the same way as this kind of hemroid is classified as an internal one. Another technique is scelrotherapy. This is when a chemical solution is injected around the blood vessel to shrink the hemroid. Your hemroid can also be eliminated by burning with the use of infrared.
